Wang Lin 2.0

My, my how she has improved. There was consistency in her lesson activities. The topic: sleep habits was meaningful....definitely better than the way she presented 'ecofarming' in the last class. She was more confident with a louder n clearer voice. Any suggestions for improvements?
Notice that she provided the paragraph number for each of her questions. The para numbers become guides for the students. Good.

  1. Hi everyone,
    Wang Lin's second presentation was better than the previous one. But, I think she still need to improve with her voice projection and pronunciation. Maybe this link can help you a litle :

    Her topic is about sleeping, so she needs to be more energetic not to let the students fall asleep. The hint that she gave in the questions is a good way to help the students by not feeding them entirely but helping them in some points to answer the questions. Overall, she did a good job.

    2. I'm quite agree with you Mam, if she is teaching something about yawn, everyone will yawn in the class. If she is teaching how to take nap, we may trying to fall asleep, then we can feel the advantages of taking nap~ hahaha

  3. Good job my friend.
    This time your passage is suitable for form 4 students and really meaningful to them. We can see your improvements.
    Maybe you can have more activities in the class, make sure that your activities should cover both high level students and low level students. Double check the worksheet before you give it your students, it must be no mistake in it. Well, that's all~ thanks

  4. Hi everyone. First of all, I would like to say you have improved compare with the previous presentation.

    You seem more confident than last time. And the topic choose is better too although taking about take a

    nap may let students feel sleepy. But you speak more energetic that won’t be a problem. And the instructions

    you use in the activities are explicit. Good job!

  5. She did better than her first time. But I think she still a little bit shy. Her topic is interesting. Students will pay attention in first place.

    However, during teacher's shy and the topic is about take nap. I feel want to sleep. I hope teacher can give some vivid activities make the class more interesting.

    Thanks for your lesson. I learned some about taking nap. good job.

  7. Wang Ling always good in choosing unique topic and different from others. this topic will manage to attract students attention because it is not something that everyone knows, so students will probably give more attention on her explanation and read the article that she gave passionately. all of her worksheets also ok. =)
    for improvement, i think she should be more energetic during teaching, she is too soft and just like what my friends have said in above comments, students might easily get sleepy when they are learning this topic. so teacher voice must be loud enough to wake them up. :)

  8. Hi everyone,

    This time, she has improved a lot as we all can see.
    I think that the topic that Wang Lin chose was very good. Also, the reading material was suitable for students. She showed a clear lesson plan that day. Her oral and on-paper instructions were all clear and correct without any grammatical errors. For worksheet 2, she made a guidance that she marked the paragraph numbers of each question, which students can refer to while doing the tasks. She made a good example for us. What I can suggest here is that I think the vocabulary activity is a little bit difficult. Maybe you can change it in another way.
    Overall, you did really well. Thank you.

  9. Did well:
    1. Compare to her last teaching, she was obviously improved so much, such as her voice projection, confident to look at students` eyes and explained more;
    2. The setting of topic was interesting and fun enough;
    3. The difficulty setting of the worksheet is suitable;

    Need to improve
    1. I think the lesson was going too much predesigned and she might memories some of the content for teaching. That is ok, but it could be better if the class was changeable and flexible;
    2. She could actually give more explaination

  10. Good points:
    She had more confident compared to previous lesson, therefore students are now more focused on her teaching.

    Aspects to work on:
    Teacher should be more energetic to teach students especially when the topic has to do with sleeping and yawning(I'm started to yawn while writing this.no offense).
